Corporate Finance is a root expertise for M6i. It’s where our understanding and competencies with the full structure of business, the economy and capital markets was forged. You will learn a lot about financial markets and a business’s record of success or failure when your work regards the money.

M6i was started after an initial decade of professional practice as a CPA with KPMG and the US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). These organizations provided uncommon access to the vast landscape of domestic and foreign businesses, their practices and how capital markets function, resulting in a high value woodshedding period. During this time, M6i studied closely and developed the following knowledge and tools:

1. accuracy, reliability and transparency are mandatory for securing confidence of all relevant markets affecting an enterprise (investors, customers, donors, business partners…)
2. how to carry the message to stakeholders and investors re: risks, opportunities and performance of the business
3. distinguishing attributes of a pro business and those that stall, flounder or fail
4. ingredients for forming and funding an enterprise that endures
5. depth of knowledge and understanding of capital markets and how capital is allocated by them

We carried this knowledge with us during our wider developmental experiences across business, the organization and wealth management. It greatly informed the growth of our expertise and skills for conducting business with the executive leaders in the operating, finance, marketing, IT and supporting disciplines. At the same time, it was crystalizing the recurring attributes native to successful investments; good ideas and people with integrity that execute them.
